We strive to offer our customers the best experience when it comes to managing your company’s assets. By having particular password requirements for your Kahi account access, we are protecting the security and safety of your businesses’ asset management records.

Protecting your company data from potential leaks, manipulation or deletion of asset or job records is part of the package. The protection of your data is as important to us as it is to you!

We totally understand that in today’s world, you’re likely bombarded with using different password specifications for nearly everything you do - it is a lot to manage and can eat up valuable time and energy! To help with that, we suggest getting familiar with the use of a password manager platform, such as 1password, or using your browser’s password manager (Chrome has a great system in place for this). These tools are easy to use, and help unload the burden of having to remember a slew of passwords.

How to choose a password

The best practice when creating a password (for any application) is to weld together three or four words separated by spaces. This will make the password unique enough without needing to add in special characters, upper/lower case letters, numbers and the like. Some sites may require specifics, but generally speaking, this should get you past the gate!

For added security, you can always test the strength of your password being compromised here: https://howsecureismypassword.net

Below are some examples* of how you can construct a password that would meet most requirements. Use words that are familiar and specific to you.
